Period summer rhymes with sun, holidays, family, friends and padel. Can we really combine all this without burn out physically

Here we are. Summer and holidays. Do you want to enjoy long sunny days, the beach, the swimming pool, the river or the lake, friends, aperitifs and other barbecues, but also our favorite sport?

Can we take advantage of everything? The answer is of course yes. But you will have to listen to your body to avoid damage.

I want to make the most of the many tournaments

Summer is the period when the most tournaments take place, so the period when you can improve your ranking. For some players, this financial investment is profitable for the coming season. So, no excess, a good diet, a good rate of sleep and padel, padel, padel, in tournament mode please.

I want to take full advantage of everything

In this case we find the bon vivants, sometimes too lively. They want to enjoy everything. Get up at 6 a.m. for a morning canyoning, aperitif and pizza meal by the lake. Afternoon via-ferrata then direction the club of padel for a match that will follow with an aperitif followed by mussels and fries. Local ball evening then open-air disco until 4am. And it's like that every day! If we could keep this rhythm it would be perfect but often the body says “stop” if all these activities are carried out at 200%. So advice: a maximum of activities yes, but with a less intense pace to enjoy everything, every day.

I want to enjoy without breakage

This is the most complicated phase of all. Knowing your body well enough to manage your vacation as well as possible. If in your lifetime you haven't pushed your body beyond its limits, perhaps you still don't fully know yourself. In short, vacations are made up of scheduled and unscheduled times. And to enjoy everything, without breakage, you have to manage.

An example: if you have decided to play padel in the evening, if it's a “fun” match that's fine, but if it's a tournament, you'll have to protect yourself beforehand. The day before, remember to have a good night's sleep without overdoing it. During the day, carry out activities that will not require too much effort, protect yourself from the sun, hydrate yourself well (with non-alcoholic drinks of course), in short, prepare for physical exertion that you will have to carry out and this 24 hours before said effort. Once the tournament is over, if the next day doesn't require any particular concentration, go ahead and take a breather.

You can often hear that people come back from vacation even more tired than when they left. This is true for several reasons.

First of all because sometimes we do nothing with our days, the body releases the pressure and we end up tired from having recovered. It's positive.

The other type of vacation is not to stop by imposing a rhythm that we are not used to having. Instead of metro, work, sport and sleep, it's various and varied activities, swimming, outings, and padel thoroughly. You finish exhausted, but well, telling yourself that you have benefited. And that too is positive. To each his own vacation as long as there is padel !

One last thing: come and discover the different clubs in your places of residence, there is always something going on there that you can then tell your friends about. Let's go!
