This is a a real bomb in the world of padel : the separation between Franco Stupaczuk and Juan Lebron seems to be a done deal, even if the two players concerned remain very discreet for the moment.

Lebron will play with Alex Ruiz in Brussels

According to initial information, Juan Lebron will be partnered with Alex Ruiz when Brussels P2, expected from 20 to 27 April. An announcement that surprises many fansboth Lebron seemed to have found a positive dynamic with Stupa.

Their record was more than honorable: 4 finals out of 4 tournaments played, with a victory in the Cancun P2 (admittedly played without the best players in the world, but still significant).

Confirmed: Juan Lebron and Stupa, it's (already) over, Lebron / Ruiz at Brussels P2!

The operation of the century for Alex Ruiz?

If there is one who realizes a great operation is Alex Ruiz. In difficulty at the start of the season with Alex Chozas (17th in the world), the Spanish left-hander struggled to find his best form. This new duo with LeBron could well revive his season.

On the other hand, this decision obliges Lebron to go back to the left, a position in which he never really dominated against the very best, unlike his preferred position on the right.

A new pair… less well ranked

By partnering with Ruiz, Juan Lebron goes down the hierarchy. The duo is currently seed n ° 4 for Brussels P2, one place lost in the table compared to the Lebron/Stupa pair.

What future for Stupa?

For the moment, nothing has been made official regarding Stupa's future partner. One thing is certain: he will not play with Alex Chozas, despite some persistent rumors. Chozas, for his part, will team up with Facundo Dominguez (73rd in the world), which relegates this new pair to the 16th place in the table. A bad operation for the Argentinian, who had started the year with great ambitions.
