The pair  Nathan Courrin / Christophe Squarta , seeded number 5, created a “small” surprise by winning the final of the  P1000 Tennis Padel rocket  against the number 3 seed,  Jules Marie / Jérôme Inzerillo , in two hooked sets:  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

The tournament offered a quality spectacle, supported by a large crowd throughout the weekend.

For the pair  Inzerillo / Marie , a victory in a P1000 seems to be getting closer. In this tournament, they did not come far from the title. Especially since this time they were among the favorites in the final, after eliminating the number 2 seed,  Moreau / Martelli , in their part of the table, while the number 1 seed,  Piombo / Gourre , lost in the quarter-finals.

Patrick Fouquet's last performance at Roquettan

For  Patrick Fouquet , tournament director, this edition had a special flavor. Former player, coach of the French women's team and key figure in French padel, he lived his  last organization at the club , which he will leave at the end of September.

"It was a great tournament with a high level of padel. We had an average of nearly 200 people watching the tournament. The players did their job with an exemplary spirit and a great level of play. Despite the heat, we were able to adapt to ensure optimal conditions. We also shared a wonderful paella evening," confided Patrick Fouquet.

A page turns

Beyond the sport, this P1000 also marks the end of a chapter. Patrick Fouquet leaves behind a strong mark on  Tennis Padel rocket , but there is little doubt that he will remain close to the slopes and the world of padel in the coming months.
