No, the Couvercelle / Gaillard pair will not have managed to register the slightest game  against the solid Spaniards  Guerrero / Trujillo  when  first round of qualifications  du  Premier Padel Bordeaux P2 But the essential was elsewhere for this totally unexpected French pair on the program.

 With only 11 points accumulated on the FIP Tour , Louis Couvercelle and Cyril Gaillard did not expect for a single second to play in a tournament of this level. Just 24 hours ago,  both players were far down the waiting list , so much so that they were simply considering watching the matches… on Padel MagTV!

"Just a few hours ago, we thought we were going to be watching the qualifiers from the comfort of our sofas, and then we learned that we were going to be able to take to the central track of the tournament!" he laughs.  Louis Couvrecelle , co-founder of  Big Padel Bordeaux   and player ranked above 300th in France.
"It's obviously completely crazy. At first, we signed up just for the thrill of it. And then the little joke became reality with Cyril. We owe it to the points we earned... in Mauritius!"

 36 minutes later , the adventure was already coming to an end.  A quick but memorable defeat , because the two friends can now affirm  that they played on the professional circuit .

As for the number of games won…  we will come back!  But sometimes,  the most important thing is to participate .
