Creation of a padel diploma soon

The padel instructor diploma is not yet available in France. The French Tennis Federation is actively looking into this issue.

Today, it is not possible to obtain a specific padel diploma. You have to go through the tennis box to have the right to teach padel.

The FFT: Not guilty!

Yes this is an aberration. But beware, the FFT is not guilty of this sleight of hand. In reality, it is the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Education that make it possible to formalize the value of a diploma.

Now, the French Tennis Federation is working on setting up a padel diploma. But it has to go through different administrative layers that take a lot of time. And exchanges with the Ministries are slow. Too slow, certainly.

Then, this diploma must be set up. If the FFT has all the powers over its implementation and construction, it takes a lot of time. It surrounds itself with qualified people to set up this padel diploma which will finally allow qualified people to give padel lessons completely legally.

The FFT: Flexible

In fact, the FFT partly turns a blind eye to what can happen in padel clubs. Indeed, some of the teachers do not have official diplomas linked to the FFT and/or the State authorizing them to teach padel. But, if we had to be firm on this point, it would be a disaster for all the competent people in padel who have been working there for a long time.

The clubs are also perfectly aware of this problem and for the moment they support all those padel professionals who do not have French padel diplomas.

Because, yes, many have trained in Spain. Who says Spain, often says quality training and a guarantee of quality. So how can you say no to these French padel instructors?

We also observe a form of dislike for tennis instructors who take advantage of the padel modules offered by the FFT.

In our opinion, it is better than nothing even if it is absolutely not enough. Do not hesitate to approach the padel training organizations in France.

These organizations will have a place to take in any case when the FFT has set up its padel course. This training will be able to complement the padel training.

This padel course is planned by the FFT for early 2021.
