Forty-eight pairs will compete in the final event of the CUPRA FIP Tour 2024, which will bring together the best padel players in the world. The CUPRA FIP Finals will take place from December 11 to 15 in Grand Bourg , in France, in an event organized by the International Federation of Padel with the support of the French Tennis Federation (FFT).
This highly anticipated event will mark the grand finale of the prestigious FIP circuit, which by 2024 will have included more than 100 “combined” tournaments worldwide. In total, 24 men’s pairs and 24 women’s pairs will compete, with 185 FIP ranking points and €90 in prize money to be shared equally between men and women.
Fifteen pairs will have direct access to the event; in addition, three places will be reserved for South American pairs, two for North American pairs, one for an Asian pair and one for an African pair. Finally, two wildcards will be awarded to the host federation. There is no ranking limit to enter the tournament: the list of participants will be established after the registration deadline, using the ranking valid at that time.
On Wednesday, December 11, sixteen opening matches will launch the competition on the Ainterexpo courts in Bourg-en-Bresse . Wednesday and Thursday will offer free admission to the public. The week will culminate with the grand finale on Sunday, December 15, where the finalist pairs will compete for the title on the 1300-capacity center court.
