This weekend, the Provence club Padel Avignon hosted the 13th stage of the Cupra Padel Tour. The club, equipped with six courts (four outdoors and two indoors), saw a great competition take place despite the capricious weather.

While rain was forecast all day, we were lucky to avoid the rain for most of the matches. It was only during the final that a heavy downpour forced us to continue the tournament on the indoor courts.

The fans present had the pleasure of playing against Julien Pes, French number 108, and Julien Datcharry, ranked 122nd.

In addition to the matches, the afternoon was enlivened by a raffle with many prizes to be won. Among the most popular: a racket and a padel bag Head, Tennis Pro vouchers, as well as packs offered by La Mariole.

Among the participants, some regulars have done several stages of the Cupra Padel Tour, highlighting the success and appeal of this event throughout France.

Tournament results:

  • P250 Men: Marvin Borg and Corentin Chazal (TDS 2) won against the number 1 seeds, Hugo Ouillon and Melvyn Rudtmann, in an intense final.
  • P25: The pair André and Anthony Gillot won the tournament
  • P250 Women: Sandrine Schwartz and Magali Pardon won.
