Several French people are in the running today in the FIP Silver of Leiria, in Portugal, with the end of the qualifications then the start of the main draw, marked in particular by confrontations against seeded players in the women's competition.

Qualifications:

The French pair Thomas Seux / Nathan Courrin (TS7), who breezed through the first rounds of qualifying without much difficulty, winning both of their matches in straight sets, will face the second seed in the qualifiers, the Spaniards Alejandro Merino / Victor Ortega. The match will take place in the second round of the day, at around 2:2 a.m.

On the ladies' side, Laura Buteau, along with Argentina's Maria Azul Llorens Gioda (TS5), also continues qualifying against the 4th seed, Michela Zaccagnini / Maria Del Carmen Gallego Castaño. A match scheduled to open the day, at 10 a.m. (French time).

Main board:

The competition begins at 14 p.m., following the final rounds of the morning's qualifying rounds.

Ladies' side:

Touly / Parmigiani faces the Portuguese pair Gaspar / Gorito (WC) early in the afternoon to launch the main draw.

The French pair Merah / Martin faces the Italian Casali, associated with the Spaniard Gallardo (TS4), in the first rotation of the afternoon at 14 p.m.

Detritus, partnered with the Spaniard Uriarte, plays against the Spanish pair Fassio Goyeneche / Gomez Rivas (TS8). A match to follow at 14 p.m.

The French pair Bahurel / Soubrie faces the 6th seed, Lopez/Blanco.

Male side:

The young French pair Boronad / Fonteny will face a team from the qualifiers, whose identity will be announced in the morning after the final round. Their match is scheduled for the second round, around 15:30 p.m. (French time).

Only one Frenchman is expected in Hong Kong: Ari Amsellem, partnered with Swiss Nguyen. The pair will play in the first rotation of the day on April 25 at 9:30 a.m. local time, or 1:30 a.m. in France.
