Padel has become one of the most popular sports in Spain, second only to football. In 2023, it was estimated that around 5 million people regularly practiced this activity in the country.
Padel, a sport integrated into Spanish culture!
Simple and accessible, it is suitable for all ages and levels, thus promoting the practice with family or friends. With more than 15 padel courts and numerous clubs throughout the country, Spain has incorporated this sport into its daily routine and sports culture.
In Spain, padel goes beyond a simple sport, it is a true art of living. After the matches, players often meet up for a drink and tapas, reinforcing its very friendly aspect.
Spanish beach destinations such as the Costa del Sol, Salou, Mallorca and Tenerife offer sunny holidays ideal for learning padel all year round. Many hotels and clubs offer modern facilities as well as training programmes.
Large cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante and Bilbao are also hotspots for padel, with accessible clubs and hotels offering courses to integrate a sporting activity into a city break.
