After several difficult months alongside  Momo González ,  Martín Di Nenno  is about to turn a new page in his season. The Argentinian will soon be back  Paquito Navarro with whom he had formed one of the most significant partnerships on the circuit in recent years.

A return that is already generating huge expectations among fans… and which seems to be giving the Argentinian player a real boost.

A pair that left its mark on the circuit

In 2021,  Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro  had almost overturned the dominance of  Juan Lebrón and Ale Galán  in the race for world number one. With five titles won together, the pair had established themselves as one of the most spectacular and popular on the circuit.

Four years later, the context is obviously different. Both players are entering another phase of their careers, with more experience but also more sporting questions.

In a vlog published on his YouTube channel during the  Buenos Aires P1 Di Nenno expressed his enthusiasm ahead of this new collaboration:

"With Paquito, we're going to try to recapture the best moments we experienced a few years ago, even if our goals are different now."

The Argentinian also emphasized the human aspect of this meeting:

"It's a huge challenge for Paco to have agreed to come back with me in this context. But I have a huge desire to give my all and improve."

"Paquito will bring back the best Martín"

Struggling since the start of the season, Di Nenno makes no secret of the fact that he hopes to regain his best form thanks to this new partnership.

Momo González's former partner is particularly motivated by this new challenge:

"I know Paco will bring out the best in Martín. And besides, I love challenges. When someone tells me something is impossible, it makes me want to try even more."

For its part,  Paquito Navarro  He also participated in the announcement with his characteristic touch of humor. At the end of the video, the Spaniard appears knocking on his future partner's door before saying:

"I've come to find my unforgettable dance."

A phrase that immediately recalls the complicity and energy that had marked their first joint adventure.

Why it didn't work with Momo González

Di Nenno also spoke honestly about his association with  Momo González , a project that never really found its stability despite several weeks of work.

The Argentinian explains that the sensations in training were good, but that the matches told a different story:

“In training, everything was going very well. But in competition, some defeats made us lose confidence. We rebuilt that during the week, then in tournaments we couldn't translate what we were working on.”

In terms of the game itself, Di Nenno acknowledges several tactical difficulties:

"We lacked the ability to finish points going forward, more than we anticipated. And at the back, we thought we were very solid, but ultimately not as much as expected."

The Argentinian also wanted to offer some self-criticism:

"I wasn't able to bring out the full potential of the incredible player that is Momo."

First meeting in Rome

The new pair  Di Nenno / Navarro  will make his official debut during the  Major of Rome , the first Major of the season on the circuit Premier Padel.

They will start as the sixth pair in the draw, very close to  Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz  in the rankings, with the objective of gradually getting closer to the top four global associations.

And naturally, their return together will be one of the major attractions on the circuit in the coming weeks.
