Arnaud Clement et Arnaud Di Pasquale are the champions from France +45 years … A coronation that is hardly surprising, when you know the track record of these two players in the world of tennis… but also of padel!
Small retrospective on the new French champions over 45 from 2024.
The crazy career of Arnaud Di Pasquale
Arnaud Di Pasquale made an impression in tennis, reaching his best ranking in 2000 with a 39th place in the world . “Dip” is also – and above all – a bronze medal at the Sydney Olympic Games, still in 2000, notably beating a certain Roger Federer .
En 2007 , he retired and here he is, almost ten years later, on the padel courts. He has been assimilated to the 40th place in France and today he is at the 150e , always assimilated.
Today, Arnaud Di Pasquale is, in particular, the Director of Greenweez Paris Major Premier Padel , who is planned this year September 28 to October 6 .
In short, after a career as a high-level tennis player, Di Pasquale has become one of the pillars of padel in France!

Arnaud Clément, from tennis to padel
Arnaud Clement is also a veteran of tennis who, for his part, reached the 10th place in the ATP rankings , in 2001. Obviously, he spent a few years on the circuit rubbing shoulders with the man who became his padel partner in France.
He started padel 6-7 years ago , even before the post-Covid development of padel in France, with Arnaud Di Pasquale and “a group of friends”. Just like Di Pasquale, he found himself assimilated into the padel ranking, to a certain 50th place .
Arnaud Clément held a position as vice-president of the FFT but ultimately resigned to avoid possible conflicts of interest.
Today, we find the former tennis champion on the padel courts. Before competing in the French +45 championships, he had also participated in the 2024 interregionals !

Now champions of France +45, Arnaud Di Pasquale and Arnaud Clément can easily apply for selection in the French Team +45. Besides, Arnaud Clément declared " If the opportunity presents itself and if we are selected, we will do it with pleasure I think. "
Stay tuned…
It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
