The world legend, Diego Maradona, passed away today at the age of 60 following cardiac arrest. a genius on the soccer fields. But he was also a big fan of padel.

The Argentinian had as a hobby: Le padel. Normal, you would think: Argentinian and bullet UFO.

If his image has certainly been tarnished by his extra-sporting stories, Diego Maradona is also part of the history of our sport: The padel.

We have seen him on certain occasions on a padel… And even on a track, he seemed able to juggle the ball. We don't do it again!

In Argentina, he sometimes hit the ball, especially on the slopes of the padel El Balcón. Moreover, it had happened to him to show himself, padel in hand on his official facebook page. A new proof, that he was part without knowing it perhaps, of a legend who participated in the development of our sport.

He rocked some of our evenings in front of our screens, (for the old ones). A new adventure begins for El Pibe de Oro.
