Under the impulsion of Frederic Piquionne, former Ligue 1 player, 4PADEL co-organized the 4PADEL FOOTBALL CUP, an event bringing together former professional footballers who came to defend the colours of their city… but this time, racket in hand!
A dynamic format and prestigious duels
The competition took place in the form of two hens of four pairs, with matches in a set of 6 games. A fast and intense formula which gave rise to great oppositions on the courts.
The pairs represented
- Rennes : Cheyrou / Piquionne
- Saint-Etienne : Citizeny / Brison
- Paris : Robert / Menez
- Lens : Sertic / Dacourt
- Rennes : Wiltord / Briand
- Paris : Shower / Chantôme
- Metz : Dossevi / Pirès
- Le Havre : The Tallec / Sinama Pongolle
Douchez and Chantôme, first kings of the 4PADEL FOOTBALL CUP!
At the end of a tough tournament, it was the pair Nicolas Douchez / Clement Chantôme who won the final against Olivier Dacourt / Gregory SerticA victory which confirms that some former footballers have lost none of their sense of the game and their coordination!
An explosive “Bombazo Challenge”
The event was also marked by the Bombazo Challenge, a smash competition where Gregory Sertic shone by sending a ball to more than 13,8 meters ! An achievement that shows that the drive is still there.
