For Bastien Blanqué and Johan Bergeron, the draw was in their favor, as the 100% French pair will face another qualified team, Miguel Gonzalez et Anton Sans. The latter, seeded No. 5 in the qualifiers, had to fight hard to secure their place, with two victories in three sets in the pre-qualifying rounds. The match will be played from 14:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. French time)

In case of victory, the French pair could offer themselves a gala match against the number 1 seeds of the tournament, Arturo Coello et Agustin Tapia.

For Thomas Leygue and Alvaro Montiel, the day started well this morning with their victory in two days against Valenzuela/Hernandez in the second round of qualifying. The Franco-Spanish pair will not play against another qualified team, but against a well-known pair of Leygue / Ruiz: Denis Perino et Jorge Ruiz. In case of victory, Leygue and Montiel will then meet Coki Nieto et Jorge Sanz, seeded No. 6. This first round of the main draw is scheduled for around 13 p.m. French time, just after the Blanqué/Bergeron match.
