After a 2024 season marked by great progress, including qualification for the Premier Padel Barcelona Finals , Edu Alonso begins a new chapter in his career. The young Spanish player announced via his social networks that he was ending his partnership with HEAD , the brand that has accompanied him since his professional debut.
“I come to announce to you that HEAD Padel and I are going our separate ways. I am leaving the brand that has supported me over the past few years. Thank you for all the support you have given me, and for contributing to my personal and professional development.” said the player of right in his message.
This departure marks the end of a relationship of almost five years between Alonso and the Austrian brand, which had recruited him in 2020, when he was taking his first steps on the World Padel Tour . He had notably been one of the ambassadors of the Gamma series alongside Arturo Coello in 2021, and played a large part of last season with the famous GravityPro .
The mystery remains as to the brand that will now equip the player with 22 years . To be continued!
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
