The International Federation of padel has just announced the list of selected players for all countries qualified for the finals of the World Championships padel 2016 by team.

But do not panic ! We will explain everything to you.

Before going any further, here is the list of qualified:

1 / This is a "temporary" list.

Indeed, the FIP did something extraordinary (A little irony…) which obviously serves our interests. First, she obliged countries to provide her with the list of qualifiers before October 12. The French Tennis Federation was therefore obliged to provide a list which was based on the results of the players in 2015 and 2016 but also on the pairs qualified for the final phases of the French championships of padel 2016.

But, the FIP announced since it is finally a list that the federation will have to definitively validate before the October 19. Theoretically, this means that the French Tennis Federation has 5 days to send him more information about his qualified.

It is obvious therefore that this list is only temporary since the FFT intends to use this modification right to send the 4 pairs from the semi-finals of these championships of France. In any case she does everything for and it's all to her credit.

2 / These lists raise another controversy: Why is France so badly classified?

Among men, France was European champion in padel, and came out first in her qualifications ...

On the women's side, France is vice-champion of Europe and she also found herself very easily first of her qualifications.

Yet we will find ourselves behind many countries that have been beaten by France ...

Result: France has every chance of ending up in a very difficult part of the table.
