Spain is experiencing a huge cold snap and the Filomena storm that is hitting the Iberian Peninsula is not sparing the padel clubs.

Part of Spain is under snow, and this is obviously the case in Madrid, which is located at an altitude of almost 700 meters. With a mercury that displayed -10°C this morning, the padel clubs of the capital display unusual settings, magnificent images, like at Mad4Padel, the club where Juan Martin Diaz trains!

You will understand, unless you are Padel fans in the snow, impossible to play outdoors these days. The traffic conditions are very difficult, so that many indoor clubs are forced to remain closed. This is the case for example of Vita10 and Padel 2.0, two heavyweights from the capital… A strange way to start 2021 for these padel clubs who had a difficult 2020…

A year ago it is Padel Attitude in Lille which had found itself under the snow, images that of course recall those of Spain. Note that as the Facebook post dated January 23, 2019, the club was… open! 🙂
