La  Rafael Nadal Academy , founded in 2016 in Mallorca, is preparing to take a decisive step in its international expansion. Rafael Nadal has sold  44,9%  shares of his academy to the investment company  GPF Capital  for an amount of  94,1 million , while retaining majority control of the institution.

A stated global ambition

Since its creation, the Rafa Nadal Academy has become a reference in the world of  tennis , welcoming players in search of elite coaching. Already present at  Kuwait, Greece and Mexico , it continues to develop and aims to conquer new territories. This agreement with  GPF Capital  should accelerate this dynamic and strengthen its influence internationally.

With this investment,  GPF Capital  brings “additional resources to modernize infrastructure and strengthen training programs.” Nadal, for his part, remains in charge and sees this new phase as an opportunity for sustainable growth.

An opportunity for padel?

If the academy has mainly marked the world of  tennis , she also plays an active role in the  development of padel , supporting some of the best players on the circuit and participating in events such as the  Hexagon Cup . With this new strategic direction and the arrival of  GPF Capital , it is possible that padel will gain even more momentum within the academy, through modernized infrastructures and increased visibility.

This development marks a  turning  in the history of the academy, which could soon establish itself as an essential training center, both in the  tennis  that in the  paddle .
