Le Coaching is allowed to experimental title for the P 2000 tournaments organized as part of the Support Plan and Relance FFT. An experiment that is no longer an experiment in Spain since the coaching is totally part of a part of padel, especially on the World Padel Tour.

Coaching, already called into question?

At the change of sides, we regularly see the coach trying to help the pair develop their game, sometimes even with small tables and thus talk more easily about tactics.

The FFT therefore decides to try the experiment. In fact, this is not really a great first in France since it could happen to see coaches intervening in certain parts. If it was not necessarily regulatory, there was a tacit acceptance by the players and organizers.

The question that may arise is: what if one of the two pairs has no coaches?

Some players already believe that “coaching should be allowed when both pairs have the opportunity to be helped. Otherwise it must be prohibited“. Yet on the World Padel Tour, in the qualifications, some pairs have coaches and others do not, and that is not a problem.
