Padel Magazine : How did you two meet?

Florent Dasque: "I discovered Eyal by chance on the internet. I liked his universe, his sincerity, his touch
artistic and it was finally on a tennis court that we met. Like what yellow ball and music are never too far apart. Since then Eyal joined the same label as me, Sony Music, and together we are working on his project as well as for other artists!"

Eyal Bensimon: “After exchanging a few balls on a tennis court, we decided to work on the music together and… to form a pair of Padel of course !

Padel Magazine : Florent, how did you discover the padel ?

Florent Dasque:  “I discovered the padel post confinement thanks to Eyal, before sharing an internship together this summer with Robin Haziza at the French Touch Academy. The padel brings us fairly quickly to Spain and not being far away, I took the opportunity to do an internship there in October with Robin. I met Alix Collombon there again, opponent then partner on two games in Barcelona. I admit, she tortured me a little the first day and as I promised her revenge on the guitar we played together the next day it was safer for both of us. I even had the chance to see her train with Robin and “the Marta”, the world's No. 1 female pair! ”

Padel Magazine : Sport and music, two worlds that are ultimately alike?

Florent Dasque: "We have known this for a long time, but high-level athletes and professional musicians share many points in common: long trips, frequent, moments of waiting in hotels, in transit, before important deadlines and always this need to escape, to clear the mind, in order to be ready to apply its resources at 200% during important moments ... some athletes listen to music, some artists play sport. When the two meet bonds are created immediately and quite often we keep in touch when we resume our respective tours around the world ”

Eyal Bensimon: "I remember an anecdote during the zéniths tour last March where I had the chance to open for Boulevard Des Airs. We arrived in the morning by tour bus at the zenith of Toulouse and we organized a small part of Padel at the Stade Toulousain at the end of the morning! In the evening I found myself in front 5ooo people playing my songs in the first half and it was amazing to share a moment of Padel before such a concert! ”

Florent Dasque: “It was a way for us to release ourselves a little from the pressure of the deadline and to share a moment together before getting down to business with the thousands of people waiting for us in the evening. Moreover, in the morning when we got off the bus, after reaching the next town, we were looking directly for a padel ! "

Eyal Bensimon: "At padel , I find the same spirit of sharing as in music and I have fun playing with friends! Thanks to sport and music, we became great friends with Flo, we can't wait to get back on the stage but also the future p250 tournaments and why not a little more… ”

Padel Magazine : With your schedule, you manage to fit sessions Padel ? Small sporting ambitions?

Florent Dasque :  “I try to play when I can, as soon as I can, when I come back from tour with my friends at home in Tarbes or Toulouse and in the clubs of the Parisian suburbs when I'm in Paris. I recently discovered the Pyramides club during the magnificent P2000 in September and I had the chance to play a few games there with Franck Binisti, Seb Ruiz, Alizé Cornet, and of course Eyal… We never lose an opportunity to go hit the ball, find parts right to left. Moreover in our studio schedules there is always a niche for padel. "
