At the end of 2022, fans are saddened by the separation of Fede Chingotto and Juan Tello, a duo adored by the public. Since then, the two Argentinians have followed completely different trajectories.

In 2024, one is fighting for first place in the world, while the other is struggling to find his game and stay in the top 20 in the world.

To better understand the divergence of their tournament careers since their separation, we offer you this illustrative table which shows the results of the 2023 and 2024 tournaments.

You will notice, however, that in this analysis, only the tournaments taken into account by Premier Padel for the ranking of players are highlighted.

First observation: Fede Chingotto has never done worse than Juan Tello in 2024. 2023 is a year of transition, even if Fede is already doing better than Juan in terms of performance. Note that Tello will manage to beat, alongside left-hander Alex Ruiz, the Paquito / Chingotto pair twice.

Second observation: This also means that Juan Tello has never managed to beat Fede Chingotto in competition in 2024.

Third observation: From the tournaments taken into account by Premier Padel in 2023 on the WPT, the difference in terms of performance between the two former partners is striking:

Chingotto has 13 finals including 6 victories on the professional circuit compared to 0 finals for Tello.
