The FIP Silver Mondeville — Caen 2026 will introduce a new feature never before seen in an international padel competition: a DJ set by FEDERdirectly on the main pitch, to conclude the finals day on January 24th. A unique initiative, designed to combine two worlds that rarely meet: high-level sport and live electronic music.

A renowned DJ on the French and international scene

FEDER (Hadrien Federiconi) is one of the most widely played French DJs and producers of the last decade. He rose to prominence in 2015 with the track GoodbyeCertified diamond and distributed in more than 40 countries, it quickly established itself as a figure in the electro-pop scene.
Among his most recognizable pieces are also:

  • Lordly, official anthem of the 2016 UEFA European Championships,
  • Blind,
  • or, Control et Breathe, regularly programmed in festivals.

FEDER now performs on the stages of major European events, from electronic festivals to concert halls, which gives a special significance to his appearance at an indoor sporting event.

A first in the history of international padel competitions

The tournament will offer for the first time a Live DJ set on the court, immediately after the last final.
The objective is twofold:

  • extend the spectator experience beyond the sporting context;
  • set up the event as a hybrid meeting, blending competition and contemporary culture.

Spectators present will thus witness an unprecedented sequence: the men's and women's finals, followed directly by a 90-minute set in the center of the arena at the Caen Exhibition Center.

A specific scenography is planned, with the installation of a stage area on the field, sound system adapted to the sporting configuration and lighting management to maintain the “arena” spirit of the tournament while creating a musical atmosphere.

A format designed to enhance the appeal of the FIP Silver

The addition of this DJ set reflects a clear objective: to make FIP Silver Mondeville–Caen an event capable of attracting a wider audience than just padel enthusiasts. The organizers aim to offer a complementary event dimension, in line with the growth of padel in France and the arrival of a younger audience.

In Europe, international padel tournaments have recently begun introducing additional entertainment (short concerts, food areas, exhibitions), but None of them have yet incorporated a live DJ set on the fieldimmediately after the finals.
The 2026 edition will therefore serve as a full-scale test.

An event built across two sites: Mondeville and then Caen

The tournament, also known as the “Padel "X Live", from January 19th to 24th, will first take place at PadelShot Mondeville for qualifying and the first few laps, before switching to Caen Exhibition Park for the semi-finals and finals.

The best French and European pairs, as well as several players from the world's top 80, are expected, reinforcing the event's sporting identity. Around 5,000 spectators are anticipated throughout the week.

The presence of FEDER complements this expanded format, at the close of a day devoted to the two finals of the main draw.

A new positioning for padel in France

With this DJ set integrated into the official program, the organizers seek to place the tournament in a more modern and accessible dynamic, in line with the rapid evolution of padel in terms of media and events.

This type of device, widely used in other sports (American football, NBA, handball), is still rare in Europe for racket sports.
The Normandy edition could pave the way for a new way of designing padel competitions: more immersive, more cross-sectoral and more attractive for casual spectators.
