On the occasion of  South Africa Invitational Padel , we witnessed a scene full of symbols:  Fernando Belasteguín  et  Arturo Coello  reunited again on the track. Guest of the event,  White  was lucky enough to find himself in the same team as his former partner,  The galactics , and yesterday, on the first day, they shared the field against  mike yanguas  et  Momo González , members of the opposing team.

A nod to the past

This association immediately brought back beautiful memories.  2022 , the Belasteguín / Coello duo had conquered  three titles , a season in which the Argentinian had propelled the young Spanish nugget into the spotlight. A few months later, Coello became  world number 1 alongside Agustín Tapia .
Between the two men,  23 years apart , almost a father-son relationship. Bela, the  teacher , had shaped Coello, his  disciple , before he forged his own path to the top of world padel.

The master and the pupil

Seeing them play together again, even in an exhibition game, has a special resonance. They won their match (7/6 6/3), a reminder that the chemistry between them was never truly lost.
Coello cannot be explained without the Belasteguín stage, and the latter will forever remain the one who launched his career to the top.

A powerful moment, steeped in nostalgia and history, in an event that offered much more than just a spectacle.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
