The FFT announced a novelty on its website: the creation of the Senior France Teams + Padel, the Executive Committee having recently validated it.

The International Federation of Padel (FIP) organizes 11 at 17 October 2021 in Las Vegas, the senior world championships padel. France will therefore participate for the first time.

It will therefore be necessary:

  • constitute three pairs for the female meetings, a pair +35, a +40 and a last +45. It will also be necessary to add a substitute player
  • compose 5 pairs for men: +35, +40, +45, +50 and +55. There will be 5 games per game and two substitutes will be needed

To make the selection of the French teams, the Mission Direction Padel of the FFT will bring his list to Arnaud Clément, elected in charge of padel. The latter will of course be transmitted to the President, Gilles Moretton.

An officialization of the French teams will be expected in September.

It will be the FFT ranking which will be the justice of the peace for the selection of pairs for each category (based on the September ranking).
