This weekend the city of Bordeaux hosted a stage of the FFT PADEL TOUR P2000 on the Sports Quays. This tournament was a real success both at the sporting level and at the organizational level and the presence of a large audience despite the high heat.

The Champions :

For this first tournament in a public place all the gratin of the padel French were present. Well almost …

On the women's side, Alix Collombon and Jessica Ginier hit hard again, beating Léa Godallier and Mélissa Martin in the 7 / 5 6 / 1 final.

On the men's side, French champions Johan Bergeron and Bastien Blanqué defeated Benjamin Tison and Adrien Maigret in the 2 dry sets 6 / 3 6 / 2.

At the edge of the field:

If this tournament was a real show on the grounds of Bordeaux, Outside the field the result is even more positive!

It was very hot this weekend in Bordeaux but that did not prevent passers-by and enthusiasts from padel to meet to admire the best French players against each other.

Everyone was able to try their hand by exchanging a few balls with the champions, the players were very accessible and the exchange was just very easy and simple between fans of the padel.

Results, more than 100 people present at the finals and more than 150 people following matches on social networks. This event is a big step forward and hopefully will encourage clubs in the hexagon to take the example and continue in this direction!

Congratulations again to all the people who took part in this very beautiful and good weekend of padel!
