The Occitanie circuit of padel continues from July 5 to 7. Direction Figeac and Place de la Raison. This stage of the French Open of padel 2019 is the 2e stage of the circuit of Occitanie Mutuelle du Rempart after that of last June in Montauban.

A step like no other

Figeac is also a club of padel history in France. We have to go back to 1991 to see the creation of the club padel figeacois. Already at the time a Minister of Sports had expressed his interest in this sport: Frédérique Bredin.

Today, the region has less than 30 licensees from padel, but many more players! There is a culture of padel in Figeac.

So back to one of the historic bastions of padel French: FIGEAC.

The programme

An event which will be linked to an exhibition and demonstration part of padel. The International Tournament of Padel will be endowed with € 5000 in prize money and will bring together 8 pairs.

Friday July 5 

  • 16 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. Discovery and Initiations at Padel
  • From 17 p.m. mini internal tournament with the Club de Padel and the public

Saturday, July 6 

  • 9h30 to 21h: Competitions
  • at 11h30 Presentation of the players (In the presence of the personalities and elected)
  • at 12h30 Wines of honor animated by the banda d'Auvergne
  • at 20h Festive meal: by reservation and registration before the 1 July (Prices between 20 and 25 €)

Sunday, July 7

  • to 9h 1 / 2 Finals
  • 13h30 to 17h Finals - Awards Ceremony
