The French contingent was well represented this week at the  FIP Silver Koksijde , with several solid runs, but none reaching the final four.

 Muesser / Wagner, the reunion ends in 8th 

Former accomplices on the French circuit,  Yanis Muesser  et  Simon Wagner  had met for this international tournament. And the start was convincing, with a close victory against the Spanish  Camara Rodriguez / Del Saz Garcia  :  6/7 6/4 6/4 An encouraging success which propelled them into the eighth place against the second seed,  Francisco Cabeza Teres / Ramiro Moyano A difficult mountain to climb, and despite good resistance, the French logically bowed out.  6 / 4 6 / 2 .

 Dardaine and Molina fall after a huge fight 

On the feminine side,  Marie-Amelie Dardaine , the only French representative, played with the Spanish  Nuria Molina Sanchez The duo started strong, dominating  Vierendeels / De Decker  and  Dejonghe / De Cock , two Belgian pairs, on the respective scores of  6 / 4 6 / 0  et  6 / 1 6 / 0 .

In the quarter-finals, they delivered a big blow against the number 4 seed,  Maria Teresa Moriñigo Gomez / Carla Serrano Gonzalez Despite losing the first set, Dardaine and Molina came back into the game and snatched a decisive tie-break in the final set. They narrowly lost.  4/6 6/2 6/7 , but can come out with their heads held high after a solid run.

 Hutzemakers / Mesa, a victory before the forfeit 

The Franco-Spanish pair  Ludovic Hutzemakers / Javier Mesa Arenas  had pulled off a great coup in the first round, by overturning the qualifiers  Lopez Caldentey / Jimenez Reina  :  3/6 6/4 6/4 . Qualified for the last sixteen, they had to face  Trillas Garcia / Pineda Cabello , seeded 10. Unfortunately,  they had to forfeit  before the meeting, putting a premature end to their Belgian adventure.
