The die is cast! This Wednesday at  Narbonne , the  FIP Silver Côte du Midi  had an intense day with the  second and third rounds of qualifying . At stake: the last places to join the  main board  of the tournament, which starts tomorrow.

4 qualified and 4 lucky losers

In the main board  several teams eventually withdrew,  which necessarily offers additional places to the losers of the last round of qualifications.  many French people were engaged  this Wednesday on the slopes, hoping  get their ticket  to join the top seeds in the main draw.  Four pairs qualified  sportingly, and  four others enter the table as lucky losers .

  •  Lozano/Perez le Tiec  fight  Lespes/Martin  : 6 / 1 6 / 1
  •  Ferreyra / Ortiz  (5) beat  Garcia/Garcia  (4) 6 / 4 6 / 2
  •  Vera/Gimenez  fight  Shoe/Shoe  (1) 6 / 4 6 / 3

Two 100% French posters that qualified  Hugo Cazaban, Nicolas Trancart, Damien Lozano and Pierre Perez Le Tiec,  4 players who are regulars on the French circuit and who we will see again for the  first time in career in a FIP Silver main draw The Spanish-Argentine pair  Ferreyra/Ortiz  also took the upper hand in their final qualifying round, as did the  Spanish Vera/Gimenez  which eliminate the  top seed 1 of the Calzada/Calzada qualifications.

With the qualifiers now known,  The main draw begins this Thursday.  The top seeds will be entering the fray, the French will have a lot to do, and some qualifiers are already hoping to extend their adventure. Summer atmosphere, high-level padel, and an expected crowd:  all the ingredients are there in Narbonne for a great week of competition .
