The Andalusian public will experience a 100% Spanish final this Sunday on the central pitch of the  Premier Padel Malaga P1 , with a highly anticipated poster between  Tamara Icardo / Marta Ortega  et  Bea González / Claudia Fernández A clash between two pairs in good shape, but with very different dynamics.

Icardo and Ortega in search of a first joint coronation

For  Tamara Icardo  et  Marta Ortega , this final marks a  big first  : it is about their  first final together  on the circuit Premier Padel. If Ortega already plays his  8rd final  At this level, it's a big first for Icardo, who dreams of winning his first title on the circuit. If successful, they would become the  lowest ranked pair  (No. 5) to win a tournament this season.

Another challenge looms for Marta Ortega: if she wins, she would become one of the few players to have won a  Major , an  P2  and now a  P1  on the circuit Premier Padel and a  prestigious hat trick  for her.

González and Fernández aim for a double and a home title for Bea

Opposite,  Bea González  et  Claudia Fernández  arrive with the status of  favorites . Already titled together at  Assumption , they are playing in Malaga their  fifth season finale . Impressive since the start of the tournament, they have not conceded  no set  and have  left less than 4 games per game  to their adversaries.

Bea González will have an additional motivation:  She has never won a tournament at home in Malaga. This final therefore represents much more than a title for the Andalusian player. In case of victory, their duo would also enter history as the  third Spanish pair  victorious at home.

A slight advantage in the H2H for González / Fernández

The two pairs have only met once in 2025, with a victory of  González and Fernandez , which gives them a  slight psychological advantage  before this final. But in a highly charged atmosphere and facing two very mentally strong players, nothing is decided in advance.

The appointment is made this  Sunday on Canal+ Sport 360 at 16 p.m. .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
