After Saturday's seeded carnage, the Marville P1000 tournament has its finalists. After two semi-finals with very different scenarios, they are Guilhem Perez Le Tiec / Elio Sarrat et Matthieu Gonzalez / Benjamin Dufour who will face off for the title this Sunday at 14 p.m., live on Padel MagTV.
Quick retirement in the first semi-final
In the first semi-final, the meeting between Guilhem Perez Le Tiec (brother of Pierre Perez Le Tiec, 9th French) / Elio Sarrat et Thomas Brechemier / Cyril Durban came to a close. After only a few games at 4/3, the Brechemier/Durban pair had to to abandonA hard blow for the outsiders who had had a superb tournament until then, but which allowed Perez Le Tiec and Sarrat to advance to the final without having to fight this Sunday morning.
Gonzalez and Dufour tremble, Samyn and Choppe impress
In the other semi-final, seed 4 Gonzalez / Dufour had to draw on its resources to overcome the surprising pair Shane Samyn / Victor Choppe, seeded 14. Winners after an intense battle (6/7 6/1 6/3), Matthieu and Benjamin had a real scare against a duo that has constantly defied the odds.
Samyn and Choppe's journey deserves to be recognized. Starting from the round of 16, they have chained victories in three sets, showing remarkable endurance and consistency to reach the last four of a tough tournament.

The final will therefore oppose Guilhem Perez Le Tiec / Elio Sarrat à Matthieu Gonzalez / Benjamin Dufour, with a P1000 title at stake.
