The FIP 1000 arrives in Italy. Italy will host the largest category of international tournaments of padel : A FIP 1000 from May 12 to 18 at the Foro Italico in Rome.

Rome in the spotlight

The International Federation of Padel and the Italian Tennis Federation have agreed to offer in this 10th edition, an FIP 1000. Until then, this annual event had only offered one FIP 500.

The Italian Tennis Federation wanted to mark the occasion and offer an event with a strong international impact. And she asked us to get the reindeer category of the fip: A FIP 1000 event.

The test of padel will take place on the same site as the Rome Tennis Master. We will have an exceptional event and we must congratulate the Italian Federation for its involvement in the construction of this event.

THE FIP 1000 with 15.000 € endowments.

The competition will attract the elite of padel world in Rome, given the points and especially the very attractive prize money. It will be a ladies' and men's competition and registrations will be based on the international and national ranking of players.

The organizers will propose:

  • In men, a pair of 96 boards and a main board of 32 pairs, or 64 pairs in qualification.
  • In the ladies, a total of 56 pairs and a final table of 24 pairs, ie 32 pairs in qualifying.

Registration fees are 40 € / Player.
