In  external conditions  Having not practiced for a while, the French struggled to impose their rhythm.
The Italians managed the elements and the tempo of the match better to secure the victory.  6 / 2 6 / 2 , with a more suitable tactical approach.

Abbate and Montiel continue their journey and will find the  7th seed Cremona / Ritchers  in the quarter-finals.

 Boronad / Robert defeated by Guichard / Geens 

On their side,  Yoan Boronad  et  Jeremy Robert  had launched their tournament perfectly by dominating  Bonnefoy / Brambilla   6 / 4 6 / 0 .

In the round of 16, they faced  Dylan Guichard / Clément Geens (TS6)  for a French-speaking duel.
The match was close, but the Franco-Belgian pair managed to make the difference at key moments to secure the victory.  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

A victory that serves as  revenge  for Guichard and Geens after their defeat against Boronad / Robert at  FIP Platinum Marseille .

 Guichard/Geens face a big test 

Having qualified for the quarterfinals,  Guichard / Geens  will face the  Top seed Lucas Campagnolo / Mohamed .
To reach the semi-finals, they will need to put on a tactically solid performance and avoid the Brazilian.  27th in the world .
