Tournaments  FIP Bronze  de  Cyprus  et  Abidjan  have offered mixed fortunes for the French representatives. If  Bastien Blanqué  et  Johan Bergeron  take place in Abidjan, the pair  Marianne Vandaele / Dora Chamli  narrowly lost in the quarter-finals in Cyprus.

FIP Bronze Abidjan: Blanqué and Bergeron merciless, Durand and Badreddine stopped

In Abidjan,  Bastien Blanqué  et  Johan Bergeron  have been uncompromising since the start of the tournament. After a quick victory  6 / 0 6 / 0  against the Ivorians  Angel Gamaliel Nguessan  et  Jean Paul Nassar  In the round of 16, the French continued in the quarter-finals. They won  6 / 2 6 / 0  facing the 6th seed,  Mohamed Michel Hussein Khachab  et  Aly Zaghloul .

In the semi-final they will meet the winner of the duel between the pair  Jan Cano Felix / Joel Fernandez Muñoz  (TS8) and  Simone Iacovino / Giulio Graziotti  (TS3).

On the other hand, less success for  Valentin Durand  et  Adam Badreddine , who lost in the round of 16 against the Spanish  Jan Cano Felix  et  Joel Fernandez Munoz  on the score of  7 / 5 6 / 4.

FIP Bronze Cyprus: Vandaele and Chamli fail at the gates of the semi-finals

In Cyprus, the pair  Marianne Vandaele and Dora Chamli  had benefited from a victory by  abandon  in the round of 16 against the Portuguese  Claudia Gaspar  et  Constanca Gorito The match had stopped at  7 / 5 1 / 0  in favor of  Vandaele / Chamli .

In the quarter-finals, they faced the 4th seed,  Ariadna Canellas Rodero  et  Alicia Cañellas . After a close match, the French women lost with a score of  7 / 6 7 / 5 . Despite the defeat,  Vandaele and Chamli  can take away some positives, notably their ability to compete against a higher ranked pair. They even obtained a  set point in the first , but were unable to make it happen. A frustrating defeat, but encouraging for the future.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
