Camille Sireix (154nd) continues to impress FIP Bronze Curitiba, in Brazil. Alongside the Dutch Rosalie Van der Hoek (110th), the Frenchwoman is playing one of her best tournaments of the season. Seeded 3, the two players have validated their ticket to the final, scheduled for this Sunday at 21 p.m. (French time), after a controlled victory in the semi-final.
A smooth journey so far
From the round of 16, Sireix and Van der Hoek showed their seriousness by having Milene Da Cruz (433rd) et Anna Marya Fagundes (495th) on the score of 6 / 2 6 / 4.
In the quarter-finals, they confirmed their status by eliminating another Brazilian pair, Laura Afonso Maas (412th) et Karen Wachowicz De Oliveira (372nd) : 7 / 6 6 / 2.
A perfectly managed semi-final
Opposed to Alessandra Abbud De Barros (203rd) et Cristina Lima Cirne De Oliveira (270th), who defeated the second seed in the quarter-finals, Sireix and Van der Hoek surely took advantage of their opponents' fatigue to win 6/3 6/4A solid and smooth performance which confirms their great dynamic.
A tough but playable finale
To get the title, Camille Sireix and his Dutch partner will now have to get rid of the seeded 1, Camila Ramme Coellar (97th) et Catarina Santos Domingos (100th). On paper, the obstacle is raised, but the current form of the Frenchwoman who just returned from an ankle injury and his partner suggests a very close match.
The final will be broadcast live at 21 p.m. (French time) on the official FIP YouTube channel.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
