Camille Sireix and her Dutch partner Rosalie Van der Hoek lost in the final of the FIP Bronze Curitiba in Brazil. Opposed to the number 1 seed, Camila Ramme Coellar et Catarina Santos Domingos, both players failed to find the key and lost 6 / 2 6 / 1.

Un severe score, certainly, but which should not obscure the excellent week achieved by the Franco-Dutch pair. For their very first tournament together, Camille and Rosalie were able to string together good performances, eliminating two solid Brazilian pairs before winning in the semi-final against the surprise of the tournament, Alessandra Abbud de Barros et Cristina Lima Cirne de Oliveira, who defeated the second seed.

This lost final therefore does not erase the essential: Camille Sireix, just back from injury, confirms that she is gradually returning to a very good level. This very good course allows her topocket 22 FIP points and to build up confidence before the next step.

And indeed, the sequel is coming very soon. Starting this week, Camille Sireix and Rosalie Van der Hoek will be entered again on the circuit, this time at FIP Bronze Santa Maria, still in Brazil. With their great performance in Curitiba, they will approach this new meeting as the number 1 seed, a great opportunity to aim for a first title together.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
