Julien Seurin et Thomas Vanbauce are having a smooth run in Hong Kong to reach the semi-finals. In the women's draw, the pair Marcarie / Senjean continues to perform on the circuit.
Seurin/Vanbauce, a final four without breaking a sweat
Hong Kong Week Julien Seurin et Thomas Vanbauce For now, it looks like a walk in the park. Seeded 5th in the tournament, the French pair has managed to impose its pace without ever really faltering.
In the round of 16, the French first had to overcome the Argentinian qualifiers. Hernan Cortez et Raul Guardia A well-managed match, with a victory in two sets. 6 / 3 6 / 0 , where Seurin and Vanbauce gradually took control of the exchanges before dominating in the second set.
In the quarter-finals, the opposition seemed likely to become tougher against the pair Hock Vincent / Troy Teo However, the scenario quickly turned against them. The opponents were unable to fully defend their chances, and Seurin/Vanbauce took advantage to play their game and win 6-0, 6-0.
This flawless performance, marked by consistent control, follows on from their recent outings on the FIP Tour. They are a focused, structured pair, capable of accelerating when needed while minimizing lapses in concentration – a combination that makes them particularly dangerous at this stage of the competition.
In the semi-final, the level will rise a notch, but Seurin and Vanbauce will arrive with confidence… and very little time spent on the track.

Marcarie / Senjean, the March hit, Merah / Razafindranaly stopped
In the ladies' category, the beautiful French dynamic is confirmed with the qualification of Manon Marcarie and Cassandra Senjean for the semi-finals. The French pair continues their excellent run on the circuit with a solid performance.
In the round of 16, they perfectly controlled their match, dominating the local pair. Chan / Chung on a net score, 6 / 0, 6 / 1 leaving very few opportunities for their opponents.
The quarter-final was on a completely different level against the seeded 3 , made of Maria Portillo Perez and Venice Chan After a close first set lost in a tie-break, Marcarie and Senjean raised their level of play to turn the match around decisively, 6-2, 6-1. A landmark victory that confirms their rise in form.

At the same time, Steffi Merah and Julie Razafindranaly had a more mixed journey. Facing the pair in the round of 16 Chan/Law, They managed to secure a solid 6/4, 6/3 victory to reach the quarter-finals.
But the adventure ended at this stage against the seeded 1 , Carla Fito Fernandez and Nika Sluzhiteleva. The French women ultimately succumbed in three sets. 7/6, 4/6, 6/4 , leaving the tournament just before the semi-finals.
With two French pairs in the semi-finals, the French contingent is confirming its strong momentum on the FIP Tour. Now they just need to turn these excellent weeks into finals… or even more.
