The week ends in the final for  Julien Seurin and Thomas Vanbauce  au  FIP Bronze Hong Kong , beaten by the  seeded 4 Reina Ambel / Vazquez Lopez  on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 4 .

A frustrating defeat, but one that shouldn't be forgotten  the very positive momentum regained  speak French.

 A final decided by a small margin 

On paper, the opposition was balanced, especially after the fall of the  seeded 2 who had opened the painting.

But in  fast conditions The Spanish managed the key moments better.

In the first set, they break at  3/3 , before being solid at the back, especially in attack with effective smashes.

The same scenario played out in the second round:  entry station wagon , then a clean management to the very end, without leaving any real opportunity for the French to return.

Two close sets, but where  Reina Ambel / Vazquez Lopez were more accurate in the important moments .

 A solid week from start to finish 

Despite this lost final, the overall result remains clearly positive for  Seurin / Vanbauce .

Seeded 5th, they had made a perfect start to their tournament:

  • victory in the opening match against  Nino / Nino (6/0 6/0) 
  • A controlled victory against  Cortez / Guardia  ( 6 / 3 6 / 0 )
  • demonstration in the quarter-final against  Hock / Teo  ( 6 / 0 6 / 0 )
  • then one  A key victory in the semi-finals  against the 3rd seed ( 6 / 4 6 / 4 )

A clean, smooth run, with a real progression in power.

 A renewed dynamic 

After a  a more discreet start to the season This week in Hong Kong confirms that the pair are getting back into rhythm.

They reach a  final on the FIP Tour show more consistency in their play, and leave with  22 FIP points  important.

 Starting next week 

No time to stop.  Seurin and Vanbauce will be back in action next week.  with a new  FIP Bronze in Hong Kong , where they will be  seeded 7 .

An opportunity to confirm this momentum… and why not go for the title this time.
