The French had great ambitions in  FIP Bronze Hop London , and they don't leave England empty-handed. If  Carla Toully  et  Jessica Ginier  continue their fine run to the final,  Johan Bergeron  et  Dylan Guichard  fell in the semi-finals after a big fight.

Bergeron / Guichard stopped in the semi-finals

Seeded 3rd, the Bergeron / Guichard duo started their tournament perfectly with two quick wins (6/1 6/1, then 6/2 6/1). In the quarter-finals, things got a little tougher against the pair  Ricardo Martinez / Santino Giuliani Lombardo (TS8) , but the French were able to raise their voice to win 6/3 7/5.

In the semi-final, they found a good Spanish pair,  Adrian Marques Berdonce and Miguel Gonzalez (TS2) A big three-set showdown, but the Spanish won:  6/2 7/6 7/5 Cruel, the two Frenchmen Bergeron and Guichard can come out of this match with their heads held high.

Touly and Ginier as bosses

In the ladies,  Carla Toully  et  Jessica Ginier , seeded 3, did not tremble. They first outclassed  Camille Sireix / Leire Uriarte Medina  (6/2 6/0), then controlled their quarter against  Bahurel / Hemmes (TS8)  (6/2 6/3).

In the semi-finals, they took advantage of the surprise elimination of the second seed to meet a less experienced pair,  Tia Louisa Norton / Stephanie Weterings An opportunity well seized: victory 6/2 7/5 to secure a place in the final.

They will meet again this Sunday at 15 p.m.  Italian Giulia Sussarello / Emily Stellato (TS5) , who created a sensation by knocking out the number 1 seed in the semi-finals.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
