Le  FIP Bronze Marnes  will host several top French pairs from May 18th to 24th, and among them, one team is particularly attracting attention:  Yoan Boronad / Bastien Blanqué .

The two French players will arrive at this tournament with high ambitions, where they will be:  seeded 6 .

A pair capable of aiming very high

The objective will be clear for both Frenchmen:  to reach a semi-final… or even better .

Because despite their positioning outside the top 4 of the seeds, this pair clearly has the weapons to take down big teams if the draw becomes favorable.

With their complementary skills and level of play, they appear as:
one of the tournament's biggest dark horses .

 Boronad in full confidence

On the side of  Yoan Boronad The dynamics are excellent on the French circuit.

The young Frenchman remains focused in particular on:
a victory at the P2000 Top Padel  alongside:  Timeo Fonteny .

A performance that confirmed his steady progress over several months.

Blanqué wants to restart the machine

For  Bastien Blanqué This FIP Bronze Marne will also be of particular importance.

The Toulouse native also has a title to his name this season with:  victory in the first P2000 of the year in the 4thPadel Bordeaux   alongside:  Thomas Leygue .

Despite a good start to the season, the dynamic has become more complicated in recent weeks.

Blanqué continues to lose places in the world rankings and will therefore have:  a strong motivation to go and get valuable points at home .

Regaining confidence and accumulating FIP points will clearly be an important objective.

FIP Bronze Marnes: Boronad and Blanqué want to play spoiler

A pair that already performs well together

The two players know each other well and have already proven that they can perform well together.

In their first joint tournament last season, they won:  the P2000 UrbanPadel Nantes .

A very strong result that immediately validated this partnership. Since then, they have continued to achieve good things together.

Encouraging results on the FIP Tour

On the international circuit, Boronad and Blanqué remain on:

  • un  2nd round of Buenos Aires P1 qualifiers
  • un  quarter-final at the FIP Bronze Rivesaltes

In Buenos Aires, they notably secured a fine victory against  Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny .

A real opportunity to seize in Marnes

Even without being among the top four seeds, this pair clearly has:
the level to go far .

With a good draw and Boronad's current confidence, the French can clearly aim for:
a final square… or even dreaming bigger.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
