Only 24 hours left to register for the FIP Bronze Marnes II. Registration closes Friday, August 21st at 5:00 PM, and even before any last-minute changes, the field already boasts a strong French presence. In the men's draw, Fonteny/Moragues, Leygue/Moya, Bergeron/Seurin, Boronad/Robert, and Joris/Blanqué are currently leading the list. In the women's draw, Camille Sireix/Tess De Vocht are ahead of Kimy Barla/Lou Lambert Agosti and Marie-Amélie Dardaine/Clara Mansart, among others. 

Three months after a first edition already largely marked by the French presence,  Marnes-la-Coquette is doing it again .

The FIP Bronze Marnes II will officially take place from  August 31 to September 5, 2026 at Forest Hill in Marnes-la-Coquette Qualifying rounds will begin early in the week before the main draw starts on Thursday, September 3. The semi-finals and finals are scheduled for Saturday, September 5.

But before thinking about the standings, there is one last day which could still change the hierarchy.

The FIP has set the  Registration closes on Friday, August 21st at 17 PM . With D-1 to go, here is a snapshot of a tournament that is already shaping up to be particularly interesting for French padel.

Fonteny/Moragues are currently ahead of everyone else.

The first pair on the men's list is the one we've been watching for the past few days:  Timéo Fonteny / Nacho Moragues Moltò .

French,  144th in the world , joins forces with the Spaniard,  120th in the world , a player who has already been in the top 100.

Moragues arrives with some impressive credentials this season, notably a title at the FIP Bronze in Castellón. That final holds particular significance given Marnes' list of achievements: Moragues had defeated…  Thomas Leygue , then partnered with Aris Patiniotis, 7/6 7/6.

A few months later, Moragues and Leygue could therefore find themselves among the main contenders for the title in the Paris region.

Leygue / Moya: the other big pair announced

Because right behind them appear  Thomas Leygue / Jesus Moya Sos .

On the current list, the Frenchman is  149th in the world  and the Spanish  138e .

For Leygue, this FIP Bronze could above all be part of a gradual return to his best level.

The former French number one had seen his ranking drop after his long injury layoff. In recent weeks, however, the trend has reversed. In London, he notably managed to come through qualifying with Clément Geens before winning his first-round main draw match against Cepero/Torre and ultimately losing to Lebrón/Augsburger.

His official FIP profile now places him  149th in the world , after having reached the  86th place  at the peak of his career.

In Marnes, he and Moya will therefore form one of the best-ranked associations as they approach the last 24 hours of registration.

Bergeron/Seurin, a 100% French pair in a very good position

Behind the two Franco-Spanish associations comes an entirely French duo:  Johan Bergeron / Julien Seurin .

Bergeron appears  181th in the world Seurin  176e .

An experienced pair that certainly has arguments in a FIP Bronze and that could take advantage of this French week to go for an important result.

Then come  Yoan Boronad / Jérémy Robert .

Boronad is currently  167th in the world , Robert  225e .

And for the latter, Marnes inevitably holds a special significance.

During the first edition of the  FIP Bronze Marnes , played last May on the same facilities, Jérémy Robert played with  Olivier Guy de Chamisso .

The journey had been remarkable.

The two Frenchmen had notably eliminated  Nathan Courrin / Thomas Seux  They were eliminated in their first match, followed by Ferran Gonzalez Zamorano and Jairo Guerrero Escarcena in the next round. They then went on to win the title. The official results of this inaugural edition are still available on the tournament's FIP page.

Three months later, Robert returned to Marnes with a new partner, and not just any partner:  Yoan Boronad .

The defending champion will thus attempt to retain his crown with one of the leading young French players.

Joris/Blanqué also in the mix

Just behind them appear  Maxime Joris / Bastien Blanqué , respectively  207th and 183th in the world .

Blanqué also knows Marnes very well, having participated in the first edition with Yoan Boronad. The pair won their first match before losing in the next round against  Benjamin Tison / Adrien Maigret , after three sets.

This time, Blanqué returns with Joris.

And the French density obviously doesn't stop at the first five pairs.

Muesser / Hugounenq, Seux / Courrin, Sichez / Maigret…

 Yanis Muesser (266th) / Arthur Hugounenq (238th)  currently occupy the sixth position on the list, ahead of  Thomas Seux (317th) / Nathan Courrin (281th) .

For Courrin and Seux, this new partnership is one to watch closely. The two Frenchmen had already played together in the first edition of Marnes, where their run was stopped in the first round by the future champions Robert/Guy de Chamisso.

We then see several other familiar faces from the French circuit.

 Romain Sichez (352nd minute) / Adrien Maigret (422nd minute)  are registered together, just like  Enzo Couacaud (914th) / Philémon Raichman (273rd) .

For Couacaud, former  36th ranked tennis player in the world The discovery of the international padel circuit therefore continues after its first appearances this season.

Jules Marie / Clément Filho, a pair that will inevitably be scrutinized

Further down the list is another association that will attract attention:  Jules Marie / Clément Filho .

Mary appears  555th in the world , Filho  967e .

For Filho, this registration marks above all the prospect of a return to international competition after several months disrupted by his ankle injury.

Jules Marie, for his part, is already familiar with the Marnes facilities: during the first edition, he was partnered with the Belgian  Maxime Deloyer The two men had won their first match before losing in the next round.

Also to follow  Tristan Piombo (335th) / Simon Wagner (1770th) ,  Lucas Pillon (335th minute) / Sacha Huard de La Marre (641st minute) ,  Nathan Perrot (600th) / Arthaud Dumoulin (675th)  or,  Benjamin Dufour (605th) / Raphaël Rubio (1124th) .

And the men's list already exceeds thirty registered pairs.

For the ladies, Sireix / De Vocht at the top of the list

The women's draw is currently much less full, which leaves more room for last-minute entries.

One day before departure,  seven pairs appear on the list .

The first is composed of  Camille Sireix and the Dutch player Tess De Vocht .

The Frenchwoman is currently  134th in the world , while his partner points to  162th rank .

They are ahead of two entirely French pairs.

 Kimy Barla (178th) / Lou Lambert Agosti (188th)  currently occupy the second position on the list.

Behind, we find  Marie-Amélie Dardaine (173rd) / Clara Mansart (208th) .

Three associations including French women currently occupy the top three places on the women's list.

Sirgant was also present, the Belgians lying in ambush

The fourth pair is entirely Belgian with  Noemi Sermant (280th) / Rune Vierendeels (330th) .

Then comes  Fitia Robinson Andriananefetra (310th) / Juliette Sirgant (365th) .

The two most recently registered associations are  Ainhoa ​​Berecoechea / Loann Jovasevic (694th)  and the Spanish women  Marina Rodriguez Garcia (1228th) / Nerea Arcaya Mateos (1228th) .

At this stage, the difference with the male table is therefore significant:  35 pairs already appear in men compared to only seven in women .

But there's still a full day to see how the list evolves.

A second edition just three months after the first

This FIP Bronze Marnes II is a direct continuation of the tournament organized on  20 to 23 May 2026. , already at Forest Hill in Marnes-la-Coquette.

The FIP also retains exactly the same general format: men's and women's competition, outdoor tracks,  main 32-pairs bracket  and qualifications that can accommodate up to  64 pairs The total prize money announced is  8 500 euros .

The first edition had above all demonstrated that this event could offer real opportunities to the French.

The title of  Jeremy Robert / Olivier Guy de Chamisso  This had been the best illustration of the situation in men.

This time, the announced French density seems even stronger at the top of the men's list: Fonteny, Leygue, Bergeron, Seurin, Boronad, Robert, Joris, Blanqué, Muesser, Hugounenq, Courrin and Seux are already registered.

Among the women, Sireix, Barla, Lambert Agosti, Dardaine, Mansart and Sirgant also give a strong French flavour to the tournament, even if the draw remains very open.

However, one essential precaution must be maintained:  These are not yet the final seedings. .

We are one day away from closing.

New pairs may still register, some associations may disappear or evolve, and the order may therefore change before the final establishment of the tables.

The date to remember is now simple:  Friday, August 21, 17 p.m. .

It is at this point that we will have a much more precise photograph of the plateau of  FIP Bronze Marnes II .

But one thing is already certain: with less than two weeks to go before the start of the competition,  The French responded massively. .

And after Robert/Guy de Chamisso's title in May, many will want to ensure that the men's trophy remains at home once again.
