Bad news keeps piling up on the side of  FIP Bronze Marnes After the withdrawal of  Thomas Leygue / Jesús Moya , it is the turn of  Bastien Blanqué  to withdraw from the tournament. The Frenchman is affected by a  minor knee problem , not serious, but annoying enough to prevent him from playing his role this week.

A frustrating week for Blanqué

This is another disappointment for  Bastien Blanqué who is going through a difficult week. The Frenchman had already learned that he would not benefit from No wild cards for the Paris Major neither for the main draw nor for the qualifying rounds.

He was therefore counting on this  FIP Bronze Marnes  to bounce back at home and try to secure valuable points. His knee had other ideas, and the Frenchman preferred not to take any risks.

Blanqué / Joris wanted to do better than in the first edition

Blanqué was expected to play this week with  Maxime Joris A dangerous pair who, moreover, had drawn a particularly tough first round against the  seeded 6, Alejandro García Calahorro / Marcel Font .

The Toulouse native was already familiar with the Marnes tracks, having participated in the  first edition of the FIP Bronze where his journey had ended in the round of 16. This time, the objective was obviously to go further alongside Joris.

We will ultimately have to wait before seeing the two Frenchmen together again.  Nothing alarming regarding Blanqué's knee but enough to force him to give up and add further frustration to an already difficult week.

Always a big tournament

Despite these two setbacks, the  FIP Bronze from Marnes-la-Coquette maintains a particularly interesting program , particularly on the French side.  Timeo Fonteny , partnered with Nacho Moragues and seeded 2,  Johan Bergeron / Julien Seurin (TS4)  or,  Yoan Boronad / Jérémy Robert (TS8)  will be present with real ambitions.

Not forgetting several other French players capable of causing an upset. The absences of Leygue and Blanqué are certainly regrettable, but  The field remains challenging and the French team has many chances.  to go far this week in Marnes.
