Adrien Maigret certainly enjoys playing the troublemaker in Marnes-la-Coquette.  Having already had a strong showing in the first edition, the Frenchman is repeating his success this week. Partnered with  Romain Sichez He pulls off one of the biggest upsets of the first round by dominating  Yanis Muesser / Arthur Hugounenq ,  6/2 6/4 in 48 minutes .

The French pair delivered a very solid performance. From the very first games,  Sichez and Maigret appear calm, aggressive, and perfectly adapted to the conditions .

They take more initiative than their opponents and finish the match with  35 winning points against 22  For Muesser / Hugounenq. A difference that pretty much sums up the nature of the match.

 Maigret, in particular, does a lot of damage with his backhand volleys. , while Sichez perfectly maneuvers the exchanges and allows his pair to constantly maintain the initiative.

Opposite,  Muesser / Hugounenq never actually manage to install their game. Too many unforced errors, especially from Arthur Hugounenq, and above all less aggression than their opponents.

Result:  6/2 6/4 in 48 minutes , without really trembling.

This result inevitably brings to mind the  first edition of the FIP Bronze Marnes Adrien Maigret had already enjoyed a very good run there, reaching the quarter-finals alongside Benjamin Tison, notably with a victory in the round of 16 against  Bastien Blanqué / Yoan Boronad .

A few months later, the Frenchman did it again, this time alongside  Romain Sichez .

The two men will face the winners of the duel between the  Top seed Julian Prins / Youp De Kroon  et  Rafael Marquet / Rodrigo Tornelli Contreras A new big test, but Sichez and Maigret have already shown that they are ready to shake up the hierarchy.

Another major battle of this first round,  Tristan Piombo / Simon Wagner  had to go the distance in a particularly close match against the Dutch  Van Betuw / Nolten .

The all-French pair ultimately prevailed.  6/7 6/3 7/6  and secures his place in the round of 16 after a huge battle.

No problem for the  4th seed Johan Bergeron / Julien Seurin who started his tournament perfectly with a victory  6 / 1 6 / 1  face  Levchuk / Eiersebner .

The same applies to the  2nd seed Timéo Fonteny / Nacho Moragues , victorious over the Belgians  Lambrechts / De Roose ,  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

The qualified  Alexis Coulombeau / Julien Motz  They are also continuing their momentum. They are leaving virtually nothing to  Bilal Duprat / Hamza Berrahou  and impose themselves  6 / 1 6 / 0 .

A very good deal as well for  Lucas Potel / Natan Etienne Having come through qualifying, the French confirmed their form in the main draw with a victory.  6 / 4 6 / 2  facing the Belgians  Hutzemakers / Vanopbroeke .
