Le FIP Bronze from Rivesaltes launched his qualifications Wednesday saw an interesting first day for the French team. While the bulk of the qualifying rounds are expected on Thursday, several French pairs were already on the pistes, hoping to extend their run in the competition.
And overall, the results are quite good.
Pérez Martínez / Bursa stop Bernard / Baud
On Central track , Quentin Bernard et Basil Baud put up a real fight against the Spanish Nil Pérez Martínez et Sergio Bursa but eventually succumbed in three sets: 5/7 7/5 6/3 .
The French had started their match well by taking the first set, before seeing the Spanish pair gain momentum and reverse the dynamic.
Potel/Etienne prevail against Docampo Fuster
Still on the Central track , a fine performance from Lucas Potel et Natan Etienne who dominated the Spanish Marc Docampo Fuster / Dani Docampo Fuster in two sets: 7 / 5 6 / 3 .
A solid victory for the French pair, who therefore continue their journey in these qualifications.
Barthe / Demontis too strong for the French wild-card
On Track 3 – Cupra , the French pair Théo Barthe / Aaron Demontis did not tremble in the face of the beneficiaries of the wild card , Benjamin Lespes / S. Pasanau , with a clear success: 6 / 4 6 / 2 .
A controlled start for Barthe and Demontis, who will be ones to watch in the rest of these qualifiers.
Cancel / Dufour unfold in the Franco-French duel
Another 100% French poster for this first rotation: Ludovic Cancel / Benjamin Dufour have largely gained the upper hand over Arthur Aureglia Cauneille / Florian Valsot with a swift victory 6 / 0 6 / 1 .
A one-sided match that allows Cancel / Dufour to continue their journey with confidence.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
