New victory for the French Tom Basso et Jeremy Robert au FIP Bronze San Juan de Alicante.
The pair Low (1045) / Robert (2144) won in the fourth and final round of qualifying against the number 4 seed, Blanco Sollet (370) / Rodrigo Manrique Nuno (291), with a score of 6/3 6/4.
The young French players had a perfect run in qualifying, winning all four of their matches without dropping a single set, and thus progressed to the main draw.
They will play their first match of the main draw at the end of the day against the Spanish pair Ferran Insa Sotillo (138) / Roger Aromi Siquier (154). The match is scheduled for the last rotation, around 21 p.m.
Note that two other French people are also involved today in the FIP San Juan:
Arthur Hugounenq (241) and Daniele Cattaneo (168) will face Miguel Angel Solbes (108) / Jerzy Janowicz (549), in a match scheduled no earlier than 16 p.m.
Romain Sichez (779) and Carlos Perez Cabeza (140) will face the qualifying pair Pedro Gonzalez Martin (726) / Mateo Conte Gonzalez (322), also in the last rotation of the day (around 21 p.m.).
