Camille Sireix (154th) and Rosalie Van Der Hoek (110th) continue their journey at the FIP Bronze Santa Maria, in Brazil. Seeded first in the tournament, the Frenchwoman and the Dutchwoman held their own by winning this Sunday in the semi-final against the Spanish pair Leire Uriarte Medina (207th) / Raquel Almendros (387th) with a score of 7/6 6/2.

A solid victory to confirm their status

In a close first round, Sireix and Van Der Hoek were able to make the difference in the tie-breaker, before rolling out in the second set thanks to better control and renewed intensity. This success allows them to qualify for their second consecutive final, after the one played last week at the FIP Bronze Curitiba.

Revenge to be taken in the final

In the final, the number 1 seed will face the Brazilian pair Abbud De Barros / Wax, who defeated the second seed. A duel that promises to be hard-fought, but where the Franco-Dutch pair will start as the favorites on paper.

To Camille SireixThis final is the perfect opportunity to seek her first title in 2025, after coming close in Curitiba. A performance all the more remarkable given that she has just returned from an ankle injury.

See you in the final

The final will be played this Sunday on the Santa Maria Center Court, with the first trophy of the season at stake for this promising new pair. The goal: to conclude this Brazilian tour in style before heading off to new challenges on the FIP circuit.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
