Camille Sireix and his partner Rosalie Van Der Hoek came very close to a first title in 2025. Finalists of the FIP Bronze Santa Maria, the French and the Dutch lost at the end of an intense match against the Brazilian pair Abbud De Barros / Cristina Cire, on the score of 6/1 1/6 7/5.
A finale full of twists and turns
The match was undecided. Dominated in the first set, Sireix and Van Der Hoek knew how to react perfectly to inflict a severe 6/1 to their opponents in the second set. The third set, very close, was decided on a few points. 5/5, the Brazilian pair managed to make the decisive break to finally win 7/5.
An encouraging journey
Despite the disappointment, the results remain positive for Camille Sireix, who only disputed his second tournament since returning from ankle injury. Finalist last week in Curitiba, she confirms her good level and her consistency on the circuit. She pockets 22 FIP points additional ones which will strengthen its progression in the ranking.
Heading to Sweden
No time to breathe for the Franco-Dutch pair, who continue this week with the FIP Bronze of Gothenburg, a Sweden, where they will be seeded 4. A new opportunity to go looking for this first title which narrowly escapes them for two tournaments.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
