The Dutch tournament is already over for the French. After an encouraging start,  Julien Seurin and Philemon Raichman  were stopped in the 1/16th final, while on the women's side,  Melissa Martin, Camille Sireix and Marie-Amélie Dardaine  were all eliminated in their first match. As a result, there are now no more French players in the running in Westerbork.

Seurin and Raichman trapped by the locals

The French duo had started well by dominating the Spanish  Aniceto / Ortigosa  (6/2 6/2). But in the next round the Blues were surprised by the Dutch  Kai and Mats Groen , solid in front of their home crowd. Final score: 6/2 3/6 6/4.

Seurin and Raichman will try to bounce back next week at  FIP Bronze Espoo in Finland , where they will be  seeded 4 .

The French women were eliminated from the start

In the women's category, the same scenario: no victory to report.

  •  Mélissa Martin and Camille Sireix  lost in three sets against  Rose / Sánchez Vera  (6/1 3/6 6/3).
  •  Marie-Amelie Dardaine , associated with the Belgian  Noemi Serment , fell against the Dutch  Van der Hoek / Bernard  (6/2 6/1).

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
