New name, new format, and record participation : 66 national teams will take part in the FIP Euro Padel Cup 2025, the main continental competition organized by the International Federation of Padel (FIP) in collaboration with Padel Europe and, for the first phases planned in Madrid from July 7 to 13, with the support of the Spanish Federation of Padel (EFF).

Increased participation which testifies to the development of padel in Europe, but also to the strong demand from nations to participate in this tournament. This year, 36 men’s teams et 30 women's teams are registered, either 15 more than the 2024 edition of the European Championships (the final phase of which was played in Cagliari) and 37 more than in 2021 in Marbella. A trend also observed at the global level: between 2018 and 2024, the number of teams registered for the FIP World Championships went from 51 to 98.

New countries on the agenda

In the men's table, eight new nations will make their appearance: Andorra, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Luxembourg, Moldova, Romania and Slovakia.
In the ladies, ten countries join the competition: Andorra, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova et Romania.

Course of the competition

PHASE 1 (July 8-10 – Madrid)
Men's and women's teams affiliated with the FIP but not automatically qualified for PHASE 2 or FINAL 8, will compete in Padel G24 Club.

  • Men : 21 teams divided into five groups (four groups of four teams, one group of five).
  • Women : 14 teams divided into four groups (two groups of three teams and two groups of four).
    Only the top teams from each group will advance to PHASE 2.

PHASE 2 (July 11-13 – Madrid)
Qualified teams will join those already admitted directly.

  • 16 men’s teams et 16 women's teams divided into four groups of four.
    The winners of each group will secure their ticket to the FINAL 8.

FINAL 8
The four best teams of the FIP ranking are directly qualified for the FINAL 8, and will be joined by the four best teams from PHASE 2. They will compete for the continental title of the FIP Euro Padel Cup 2025.
The exact location and dates of FINAL 8 will be announced in the coming weeks.
