Le  FIP Gold of Belgrade  will have the right to the long-awaited final.  Coki Nieto / Mike Yanguas  et  Franco Stupaczuk / Jon Sanz  They lived up to expectations in Serbia and will face off this Sunday for the title.

Beyond  150 FIP points promised to the winners This final has major implications, coming just days before the return of Premier Padel :  the number 4 pair spot at the Paris Major .

Nieto/Yanguas can overtake Paris

The calculations are complex, taking into account the 22 best results in the ranking and the progressive loss of points obtained last season. But the consequence is much simpler.

 If Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas win the title in Belgrade, they will overtake Stupaczuk / Sanz and become the No. 4 pair for the Paris Major. 

The difference would be minimal:  11,709 points versus 11,627 .

A detail that is far from insignificant. Being seeded 4 allows you to avoid the top three pairs before the semi-finals and therefore offers, on paper, a more favorable draw.

And the  Madrid P1 will not change anything in this situation for Paris The draw for the Paris Major will take place before the next ranking update. In Madrid,  Stupaczuk / Sanz will therefore still be TS4 , but a victory for Nieto / Yanguas in Serbia would allow them to snatch that position for Paris.

Both pairs were present.

From a sporting perspective, the four men perfectly lived up to their status in Belgrade.

 Franco Stupaczuk / Jon Sanz  initially dominated  Fran Jurado / Alejandro Garcia 6/2 6/2  in the quarter-finals. They had to fight harder in the semi-finals against  Pablo Lijó / Xisco Gil , finally dismissed  7 / 6 7 / 5 .

On the other side,  Coki Nieto / Mike Yanguas  were particularly strong. After a success  6 / 2 6 / 2  salary.  Nico Zurita / Samu Rivas  In the quarter-finals, they largely dominated  Javi Garcia / Alex Ruiz 6/3 6/1  in the semifinals.

This final will therefore be the first real test for  two new associations that will begin their project on Premier Padel to Madrid .

A first duel that's already important for the new pairs

The poster is all the more interesting because  Nieto / Yanguas and Stupaczuk / Sanz  should be in direct competition behind the top three pairs on the tour.

Salazar/Osoro vs. Iglesias/Rufo in the women's draw

The women's draw will also offer a great opportunity for the title.

 Alejandra Salazar / Aranza Osoro  had to overturn  Montes / Barrera  in the semi-final, with a victory  5/7 6/2 6/0 .

They will find  Victoria Iglesias / Lorena Rufo , also returned after losing the first set against  Castelló / Talaván: 5/7 6/4 6/0 .

Two finals with high stakes in Belgrade, but in the men's competition, all eyes will be particularly on  Nieto / Yanguas and Stupaczuk / Sanz , with a direct battle already underway for the hierarchy of the next  Paris Major .
