First tournament together and already a title for  Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz The new Spanish-Argentine pair made a perfect start to their partnership by winning the  FIP Gold of Belgrade , with a victory  6 / 3 7 / 5  in the final against  Coki Nieto / Mike Yanguas .

A very high-level final that also had real implications for the standings: thanks to this victory,  Stupaczuk/Sanz consolidate their position ahead of Nieto/Yanguas and become the number 4 pair for the Paris Major .

Stupa/Sanz already very complementary

For our first competition together, it's hard to ask for much better.

Since the start of the tournament,  Stupaczuk and Sanz did not concede a single set In the final, facing a Nieto/Yanguas pair who already know each other very well and are embarking on their third joint project, the new duo once again displayed a true complementarity.

The meeting offered  a lot of intensity and very intense exchanges , including a rally exceeding two minutes, a symbol of the physical and defensive level offered by the four players.

But in important moments,  Stupa and Sanz managed to add an extra gear .

Sharper in key moments

The first set goes in their favor  6/3 With their ability to put in a huge amount of effort, defend and then quickly move forward again, Stupaczuk / Sanz manage to make the difference.

The second set is much closer.

Nieto and Yanguas hung on and pushed their opponents, but once again, the important points were better handled by the Spanish-Argentine pair.  5/5 Stupa/Sanz finally find the opening before concluding  7/5 .

A victory  6 / 3 7 / 5  which allows them to secure their  first trophy in their first competition together .

Fourth place for the Paris Major

Beyond the title and the  150 FIP points The stakes were particularly high in Belgrade.

The two pairs were directly competing for  fourth place in the hierarchy for Paris Major A valuable position as it allows them to avoid the top three seeds before the semi-finals.

With this victory,  Stupaczuk/Sanz move ahead of Nieto/Yanguas and will therefore be the number 4 pair in Paris .

An already important first direct duel between two associations that should regularly find themselves in the battle behind the very best pairs on the circuit.

A first test that was a complete success

For  Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz , the message sent before the resumption of Premier Padel is strong.

One tournament, one title,  no set lost  and a victory in the final against their direct competitors for fourth place: their new association starts on very solid foundations.

It now remains to be confirmed on Premier Padelwhere the competition will be even fiercer. But after Belgrade, one thing is already certain:  Stupa/Sanz can quickly become a very difficult pair to maneuver. .
